Help Me Understand

I've been reflecting a bit about some of the tendencies that we have as women when our hearts are unconverted. We become strange, we become the strange woman. Why is it that we hate each other so much as women? Why are we so intent on breaking each other? What do we gain from all of this? What do you gain when another women is hurting? How can her pain bring happiness to you? How is her pain or flaw making you better as a Christian?

Furthermore, what is about men that makes us so willing to sacrifice ourselves, values & our relationship with God? Why? I pray God gives us the eye salve. I pray He reminds us that anything besides Him is a 'broken cistern' with no substance. I pray God help us to desire Him and no else.

May this be our deepest longing:

Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.-Psalm 73:25

14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.-Ephesians 3:14-19

Do not ACTIVELY be the ‘other’ woman

Disclaimer:This post excludes those who have bee sincerely deceived by men, claiming they are the only ones while being two-timers.

Another thought from my outing with my sisters. Before I share my thoughts let me say this:until God becomes our ALL,we will always be filling His position with temporal things(broken cisterns)-relationships,money,fashion,fake personality, food, movies, novels and so forth. So,the first step to avoiding being the other woman is be absorbed in God-loving Him with our all and seeking Him first and entirely.

With that said,I’d like to speak to sisters. We also have a role to play when it comes to cheating.Sadly,at times we play an active role.We know too well that the brother is seeing someone, yet one will force herself into his life;calling him for no valid reason, flirting with him and so forth. This is unbecoming. We are called to have that ‘meek and quiet spirit’-meekness is not self-seeking,bold,looking for attention.

In fact, sometimes we put ourselves in compromising positions:spend much time with this particular brother, giving ear to all his distresses, thus being tied to him.In the end, because we’re so tied up,feelings lead us to cheat.Often, the other woman has counselled, gave an ear, till she willingly gave herself, compromising the tie that binds the couple.SOP counsels us to let brothers counsel with each other.

I’ve been in a position where I found myself getting too close to a certain brother. He’d share his victories, trials, and things he never shared with anyone with me.I think as women we naturally like listening. But this strengthens the bond between the two, thus leading to compromising situations-where a relationship starts THAT WOULD HAVE NEVER STARTED,had there been no secret interchange. You also put yourself in a position where you’ll get hurt when the brother shows attention to another sister.

Furthermore,we have sisters who know too well that the brother is married, yet they will be flirting with him still. That is wrong! As unmarried/married sisters,we must respect other people’s relationships;especially the marriage institution.Be kind but stay away.Do not even entertain the thought of someone else’s partner being yours.Pray over this spirit.

Another crucial thing, which does not involve cheating but I believe is crucial:respect other people’s husbands, please. You have NO right shouting at another woman’s husband.Speak with respect.I haven’t been in a situation where someone’s husband has wronged me,butI’d rather speak to the wife.If it’s someone I take as my father,I’ll point it out humbly.

Now,what if he’s not in a relationship? The truth is,it is none of your business.I’ve learnt that we need God to help us view our brothers in a pure light-not as potentials.Truth is,a God-fearing man is attractive,it’s easy to fall prey and start castle-building and see the future. But this a recipe for disaster. It’s you not guarding your heart and giving your heart away, when the brother has not even tried. Then, heart break follows because he’s not forthcoming. The poor brother sees a sister in Christ.

How do we guard against castle building?Philippians 4:8.Keeping busy and hiding God’s word are some of the ways we can use. Also having godly sisters to share God’s Word with, pray with and do mission work with helps. Also doing fun things together-cooking together etc.
Also, think of it this way:the brother you are dreaming about, who you are not in a relationship with, might be someone’s future husband. Now it does come across as silly to be imagining yourself who’s not even yours.God is able to deliver us.

Still,I hold onto this rule:’he who findeth a wife, findeth a good thing’-proverbs 18:22.The work of identifying potentials is not ours.We wait on the Lord who is faithful. We have no business trying to find husbands.
We are living in the last days, where Satan is constantly insinuating lies.Even so,God has a moral law,but in order to keep it,we need renewed minds. We need love as an operating principle so that we cannot harm each other.

We are to be each other’s keepers. We harm our brothers when we cause them to lose focus and give in to relationships that are not God-ordained and when we cause them to cheat. In fact,we’re told that when we cause another to sin,we are accountable for their sin.

Cheating hurts. The lady who is cheated on ends up wondering if she’s good enough. You really do not want to be the cause another woman has to start from bottom and rebuild her worth in the Lord. But the one who insinuates cheating stands to lose more-in most cases,a brother will use you to fulfill his pleasure and drop you off.But above all,you are cheating and your Maker has called you to faithfulness.

Let’s guard other people’s relationships. Is not love beautiful? Why be the one to break it?May we be a generation of women with high standard-who’d rather be laughing stocks rather than sin.Let us stand in solidarity.I believe when women raise the standard, men will be forced to.

The plight of a black man-Part 1

I think it has actually dawned on me that, being a black South African man is the hardest thing. For some time, I've judged the black man harshly, expecting more from him.Well,I still do.Our circumstances or our background can never be an excuse on who we become.Although they influence our habits, they do not determine who we become- because Christ died for us and we each have choice to exercise to determine who we become.

But the sad thing for a black man is,he doesn't have much role-models to draw a pattern from;especially if he is raised by his single mother. At times even if the father is there;he misrepresents manhood/ fatherhood because he doesn't know better or he's just being irresponsible.

The sad reality is,even when surrounded by older Christian males, who also have not had father figures, they sometimes misrepresent what manhood is about.I remember how my twin brother will witness these men changing girl after girl.I don't blame them neither do I condone them. So,in a young boy's mind manhood becomes associated with the number of girls he can get. Or manhood is associated with what one has materialistically rather than virtue/character.

But I believe it is a duty of every Christian man, regardless of His background,to allow Christ to change him into the man He wants him to be-to learn from Him and to ask for strength to be changed into the image of Christ. And as Christ continues to do this for Him,he has a responsibility to other young boys who are still finding themselves. It might not necessarily be mentorship;but he can still play a role-by example and guidance.

I pray for you young black South African men.Your plight is not easy.

Cooking Adventures :)

I am excited!I'm super excited since my cooking is improving on a daily basis.Well, the reason I'm excited is because I had mentioned here that I've never been a fan of cooking. My brother did the cooking and I just felt pressured that it didn't come naturally to me as it did to him.I remember my dad asking me why I wasn't keen on cooking and I told him I wasn't getting married.Such ignorance. And to think that I want to be a medical missionary soon.I'd be not thoroughly equipped if I don't know how to cook.I blame Rhodes University and my mom!!!!We had a dining hall so we didn't cook.

Last year I spent the whole year at home and I kinda enjoyed being a "stay-at-home" daughter. But I dreaded the cooking process.I'd get something and the next time it would be a complete fail and I just felt discouraged.Cooking felt like writing trial exams in matric.I just felt like God hadn't given me the talent and I had made peace that I'd never be able to cook. All I could do was cook basic things like rice, macaroni, spaghetti and probably stew and frying veggie stuff-is that cooking though?

This year I came across a video on why cooking is important here.I had read all that has been shared and I learnt that it was my God-given duty to know how to cook. And like Daniel had purposed in his heart not to defile himself with  king Nebuchadnezzar's food,I also purposed in my heart that I was going to learn how to cook. And since I'm renting a flat,I have no choice but to cook. And my cooking is really looking up.

I guess I've always had the idea that cooking takes no practice. It something that you wake up and you're able to do.But that's not how life is.Nothing comes without practice.Like Christianity is a journey of continual advancement,so is cooking.

These days I can cook a meal with 4 different things and I rarely eat bread.Yay!!!Although I must admit there has been times I have miserably failed, made bloopers,it's still coming.I remember feeling frustrated and telling my mom's friend that God hadn't blessed with the cooking skill. And she said that it will come as I keep at it.She was right.I'm even inventing my own recipes.I'm not a fan of recipe books,-I'm enjoying learning how to cook certain things and since I'm sharing a flat I ask when I'm not sure.I'll use cooking books when I'm perfect.

My brother has been my greatest supporter.I've been spending my vac with him, since I've realised that I'm actually a social being and I've been cooking for him.And he's been giving me constructive criticism.I remember cooking split peas and assuming they were well cooked without even tasting them.I felt bad! So,I kept cooking them till I could make them soft. But there has been victories too.Like I always stir fry carrots as opposed to boiled ones and my bro is a big fan.He also liked today's supper, which included mashed potatoes.Although I had felt that I hadn't cooked them like the last time (to perfection) he really enjoyed the meal.He said he'd "pay" for the meal I cooked.I was overjoyed :),still am!

The way I'm excited :).It's so nice to get to a point where you enjoy a meal you've cooked yourself. The joys of cooking!!!!Now,I can invite my "mother" for a meal :-).I should start baking now-baking a cake is gonna be my first baking project.I don't consider baking muffins as much baking/bread.I can't wait to cook for my birth mom!I've always looked forward to the day where my mom wouldn't touch the pots for a week. Can't wait for December so that I can go home and cook for my dearest mother and my dad.

I thank God for teaching me how to cook and cheering me up.Now I have to work on salt-since I always put too little/too much.Or putting too much water. It seems like I've forgotten my bro's advice. To always put little water and build up from there. At least,I woudn't be ashamed to share my lunch with a stranger now.

"Upon no account should the marriage relation be entered upon until the parties have a knowledge of the duties of a practical domestic life. The wife should have culture of mind and manners that she may be qualified to rightly train the children that may be given her."~AH,p.87

"Many ladies, accounted well-educated, having graduated with honors at some institution of learning, are shamefully ignorant of the practical duties of life. They are destitute of the qualifications necessary for the proper regulation of family, and hence essential to its happiness. They may talk of woman’s elevated sphere and of her rights, yet they themselves fall far below the true sphere of woman.

"It is the right of every daughter of Eve to have a thorough knowledge of household duties, to receive training in every department of domestic labor. Every young lady should be so educated that if called to fill the position of wife and mother, she may preside as a queen in her own domain. She should be fully competent to guide and instruct her children and to direct her servants, or, if need be, to minister with her own hands to the wants of her household. It is her right to understand the mechanism of the human body and the principles of hygiene, the matters of diet and dress, labor and recreation, and countless others that intimately concern the well-being of her household. It is her right to obtain such a knowledge of the best methods of treating disease that she can care for the children in sickness, instead of leaving her precious treasures in the hands of stranger nurses and physicians."~AH,p87,88

"The idea that ignorance of useful employment is an essential characteristic of the true gentleman or lady is contrary to the design of God in the creation of man. Idleness is a sin, and ignorance of common duties is the result of folly, which afterlife will give ample occasion to bitterly regret."~AH,p.88

"Young women think that it is menial to cook and do other kinds of housework; and, for this reason, many girls who marry and have the care of families have little idea of the duties devolving upon a wife and mother.
It should be a law that young people should not get married unless they know how to care for the children that are brought into their family. They must know how to take care of this house that God has given them. Unless they understand in regard to the laws which God has established in their system, they cannot understand their duty to their God or themselves."~AH,p.88

"To the health and happiness of the whole family nothing is more vital than skill and intelligence on the part of the cook. By ill-prepared, unwholesome food she may hinder and even ruin both the adult’s usefulness and the child’s development. Or by providing food adapted to the needs of the body, and at the same time inviting and palatable, she can accomplish as much in the right as otherwise she accomplishes in the wrong direction. So, in many ways, life’s happiness is bound up with faithfulness in common duties."~AH,p89

A plea to ALL my Christian sisters

(This comes from my personal fb account, but it's relevant even here)

My dear sisters,I really feel I need to say this.It got me awake all night.
As God's daughters we really need to study how God would have us dress so that we can please him and NOT be stumbling blocks to other people, especially our dear brother.God has revealed exactly how he would have us dress. It's really heart breaking to come in God's house and see the same nakedness you try not to look at outside the church.
According to God's standard:the thighs, the legs and the hair should be covered. If they are not,it's nakedness. What breaks my heart even more is when we decide that stockings are a covering and wear the shortest dress in church.Do we know who God is?Do we have any idea how holy he is?Revelation 4 gives an insight and we're told that the angels cover themselves when they come before Him.How much should we?Sinful, mortal souls,ESPECIALLY SINCE IT'S A COMMAND FROM HIM.
When we come to God,let us come presentable,NOT in nakedness. When we go to church, people need to see a church woman and not mistake us for loose girls with no morals all because of what we are wearing. We need to consult the Holy Spirit to guide us in this area and believe me he does.I remember wearing my favourite bubble dress which revealed my thighs one Sabbath.I could hear the Holy Spirit telling me it was too short but I replied"I'm wearing stockings".A friend came and told me the same thing but I dismissed her.A terrible Sabbath I had!I felt uncomfortable-having to keep pulling my dress.I could not wait to go home so I could wear something else.
When I started studying about the matter of dress there were many things that made me hurt. The realisation that I was displeasing God by my dress but what hurt even more was the realisation that all these years I was tempting my brothers. It hurt.Males are created differently from us.They get stimulated when they see the woman's body-certain parts:legs.thighs, etc;but this is only meant to happen within the the marriage relation. We certainly don't want to play a part in that.We should cover ourselves not only for God and only allow our husbands to see our nakedness-not every male out there.
No one should be seeing our thighs-whether we are sitting or not-no one should. And wearing those tight, short dresses not only reveals our nakedness but are a stumbling block to the guys.I can almost imagine their frustration-trying to worship and having to turn away every time we stand/walk past because they do not want to think unholy thoughts.
It is not loving of us.There needs to be a difference!People should be able to seperate us from worldly women. Our dress should speak for itself. Please consider this matter. The house of the Lord is NOT a catwalk for us to showcase our nakedness nor a fashion show.Let us dress with this intention:To please God and in return we'll not be stumbling blocks.

His ways are liberating

God's ways are liberating!I'm in awe as I think of how much God loves us and only wants the best for us.Every command He gives is out of love, for our own benefit.Indeed "The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love."~Psalm 103:8.In God I'm learning to trust FULLY in him, like as a helpless baby who trust on its mother for everything.

As I was preparing for Sabbath,I was looking at my short hair and I just felt a sense of peace.I look at how well my limbs are covered and I cannot thank God enough.I'm humbled! To think that the thought of giving up my short dresses-still have a few,as I'm not yet there yet,the thought of giving up my high heels and extensions really was hard. But as the Holy Spirit began to work in me,I started to feel a change-inward change.

I'm no longer absorbed in having my hair relaxed or the latest hairstyle.I haven't relaxed my hair since September.I no longer feel pain from my shoes and shoes are not the first thing that catch my attention when I'm at a shop and I don't have to spend too much money on one pair of shoes. And I'm grateful for the grateful for dress reform.Through dress reform,I now realise the heart must be pure, before the outward can be well covered.

I'm no longer worried about my skirt showing enough curves. All I want now is Hi righteousness,to be covered by His grace.I want His spirit of meekness,His love and affection,His kindness and humility. It's more appealing to me more than the latest fashion.I pray for the meek and quiet spirit,to speak words that are edifying,to support the discouraged and to live for others, that is NOW my desire.

Just a thought

Proverbs 18:22King James Version (KJV)

22 Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.

This passage is deep. Not only does it call finding a wife good thing, it’s a favour from God, because ‘every good thing comes from God’. It also implies that the man is the one that goes searching for a wife, not the other way around. It’s God’s order. Like God goes looking for a sinner, so does a man search for a woman.

This whole theory of modern women is not on. We should not celebrate nor encourage women who propose to men. Then there are those who use Ruth as an excuse. But looking at the type of woman Ruth was, her only concern was taking care of her mother-in-law and serve her. She never initiated a relationship with Boaz; she obeyed her mother-in-law, Naomi.

#Let_God’s_order_Be*

Thoughts on the story of Ruth are welcomed!

Womanhood-God's way

I miss what womanhood used to be about. I sometimes wish I could turn back the years, so that I could exchange my novels for cooking, knitting, sewing and gardening. The novels only brought me false hopes and seasonal happiness. I wish our mothers or our parents could be honest and tell us, education isn’t everything! It’s a huge lie.No, it has its part, believe me, especially living in this century. But I realise life finds its true meaning when we as women do what we were called to-serving, being a help meet whether in the home or church-if unmarried.

As much as I enjoy being a student and all that it brings, I'm at peace when I’m cleaning the home, when I’m doing the dishes and when I’m folding my clothes-I feel feminine. I feel like I’ve achieved a lot when I’ve cooked a tasty meal(started late sadly). And there are times I wish I could take care of the home all day long. It’s a pity that I used to despise housework.Ladies, let’s not look at “home keeping” as demeaning. It’s fulfilling.

I wish younger girls could take time to enjoy the art of cleaning, of cooking, of keeping the house orderly and clean. But sadly this day and age promotes ‘self-love”. All (with an exception,of course) that younger girls want to do is take pics, chill with friends and “enjoy life”. That’s what I wanted-or I thought I wanted. But as I grow old, I want more housework, I want to serve, and I want to be what God has called me for.

Womanhood was identical with kindness and virtue. I remember how as girls we held the principle that we had to be at home before the sun sets. Where’s all that? Where’s the spirit of adhering to rules? Nowadays you see young girls and woman (how sad) who are content with looking neat and beautiful, while they leave dirty dishes and unmade bed. Of course, that’s not the case for everyone.
As much as we need to be well-read, I think it would do us much good to go back to the old way. My grade 9 teacher once told us, “It’s not right for a girl to go to sleep ,leaving the dirty dishes behind”. My mom has often told me while growing up, to leave the house orderly, incase I got in an accident and get hit by car. Where’s that mind-set?But God requires this from us.”Let everything be done in decency and in order”-1 Corinthians 14:40

I happen to share a house with 4 lovely ladies, but they lack when it comes to neatness. They make up their beds and keep their rooms neat. But when it comes to other areas its always messy. And I often conclude: it’s either the mother has not taught the child to clean or they’re plain lazy. And often the reason is: books. But that’s not a valid reason.House chores can be done during study breaks and no one studies all day.I’ve often felt ashamed and marvelled that we can be on social networks while work is left undone.

And we all aspire to be like the Proverbs 31 woman. But honestly, do you think she became like that overnight? No, she started in girlhood and continued till she got married. As ladies, we should use every phase in our lives to prepare to take care of our own homes. Let’s embrace what womanhood is about. It’s got little to do with “weaves, heels” and more with serving God, our family and those around us…and this service include taking care of the home

A godly woman is UNASSUMING

Nor does she allow herself to be in situations where she will end up assuming nor does she allow her mind to assume.

What I mean is, we should not conclude until something is stated, as we are putting ourselves on the devil's ground. This I've seen especially in our relationships with our brothers. A brother will show kindness towards a sister, share the Word, be there for her and she will suddenly assume he's interested in her. Or a brother may give certain looks at a sister and she will assume the same. I’ve been a victim of this and by God's grace I see its evilness and slowly overcoming, through His grace.

Most of my sisters have been hurt because of this. I remember  an instance when a lady I know had been in  a long friendship with a certain guy and because they shared their problems with each other they became close-this is a general thing, the more we share certain things about ourselves with certain individuals the bond becomes tight. This is evident in our spiritual life as well-there more time we spend in prayer and in God's word, witnessing we become closer to God. But back to my story, she started viewing the guy friend in a different light and would have loved a relationship with him.

But sadly, the idea was not mutual. And she was badly hurt and then she went on to say the friend used him. But on what grounds? He was never in a relationship with her to begin with. And there is a lot of this going on between brothers and sisters in the church. But this is not how God would have it.
He would have us "affectionate, kind, and devoted to one another. “Romans 12:10

Even so, there need to be boundaries so that hearts don't get broken-after all, “love does no harm" Romans 13:10.And so my sisters, let us pray for an unassuming spirit. We should not quickly assume that because a brother expresses kindness towards us he's interested or he wants to pursue a relationship with us. It’s his brotherly duty. And we should guard our hearts and examine our feelings and ask God to search our hearts. In fact, I’m learning that we need to give God our feelings, because feelings cannot be trusted and "the heart is wicked above all things”. A speaker once advised that as ladies, we should not place ourselves where we are likely to develop feelings for a brother.

How do we do this? Let us make God our only, true friend. Instead of pouring our hearts to guys, let us tell Jesus because he is more than eager to hear about our struggles and he enjoys it when we come to Him. That way, we have more control over our hearts. Also, pray for a godly sister in whom you can share your trials with or get an older, godly woman to pray with and seek advice from. And if you happen to be blessed with godly parents, share your struggles with them-this not only saves you from a broken heart but strengthens the relationship you have.

And yes, guys are accountable as it is not wise for them to be our confidant. But I'd rather talk to sisters. And as much as we are to love our brothers, we must guard carefully how we interact so that we don't mislead each other and end up losing focus on why we are on this earth.

And just an illustration from the human body: during reproduction/...,the sperm is the one that runs after the egg not the other way around. This simply shows it is not according to God's order for a godly woman to "pursue" a man. It's against God's order. And my dear twin brother has often told me that pursuing a guy makes him disrespect you or use you. Let’s not put ourselves in situations where we'll get hurt.

I've learnt that the ONLY time it is appropriate for us to open our hearts is when we are in a relationship. That way you won’t get hurt. Let us not open our hearts to every guy out there-your future spouse is the one worthy of that.

May God grant us with godly reserve and an unassuming spirit? May we be so focused on Christ, that we'll pursue pure relationships with our brothers with no mind games?

To my younger sisters and older ones :)

1.Beauty is not defined by the shape of your body and the legnth of your hair or the way a certain clothing item fits you.Beauty is deeper-it comes with allowing Christ to mold us.

2.Your worth can never be defined by anything you have-but by what God has done for you, sending Jesus to die for you!Stop feeling sorry for yourself because you never went to that school, you don't have that dress,or you not YET where you thought you'd be in 5 years time. You still matter to God and that's all that counts.

3.Taking care of your health and exercising is the most precious gift you can give yourself. And God expects you to-your body is His temple and it must be kept in optimum health.

4.The attention that males give/don't give you doesn't determine your worth.Relax!Males shouldn't find it easy to say improper things to you.

5.When relating with your brothers in Christ:be mindful not to be a stumbling block to them and treat them as though they were married.

6.A relationship doesn't complete-only God can.After all,it is the potter who can mend a broken dish,isn't it?

7.Accept your body as it is.No need to compare yourself with celebs-you are princess in God's eyes.

8.If you want to be a virtous woman:Spend time in prayer,Bible study and serving :).

9.Choose your friends wisely-if you want to make it to heaven, choose like-minded people.

10.Kindness makes you more beautiful.I personally need God to help me in this area.

11.Life is NOT a competition!Don't waste your time comparing yourself with other girls-you are precious in God's sight.

12.Take time to reflect and to ask for strength for improvement in areas where you lack.

13.Instead of spending hours taking selfies, use the time to improve in a certain skill-whether it be reading, spelling, cooking.

14.Let's ask God to give us a submissive spirit,so that we may accept His role for us;which excludes being an elder or pastor,ACCORDING to His Word.

15.Gossip displeases God.

16.The influence of a woman is rarely in the pulpit-it's in her facial express, her words, her dress,in EVERYTHING and she is the most influential being.

17.Waiting on the Lord is worth it and trust him with every area of your life:your dress, your relationships, your hairstyle. That's how involved God wants to be in your life.

18.Let's love each other as sisters, pray for each other and encourage each other in the Christian walk.I personally believe they'd be less pregnancies,back-slidding,hate,dissensions if we counselled with each other-moreover,sought counsel from God and in His word.

19.Let's love in deeds:it is not loving to encourage a sister to move forward with a man who's not of the same religion as her.Let's stop celebrating sin.

20.Jesus is the ultimate best friend, before even your female bff.

21.Be your mother's helper-this will strengthen your bond :)

22.Befriend older,godly women-they are full of counsel.

FEMININITY IS BEAUTIFUL,PART 2:

We live in a society that potrays women as tough and that encourages women to go for what they want and it also equates women to men.The society I live in encourages women to try to be men.We have quotes like,if men can do it,so can I!But this is not how God would have women become. When God created woman and man he made them different. He gave women the feminine traits while he gave men masculinity. This was so that they could complement each other. In women, there is that mothering trait, the desire to help and that is what makes us feminine.

But the devil through movies he portrays women who are loud, forward as cool.Women are not afraid to express their desire to have a relationship with a guy or even propose.By doing this,we overstep the line and we fall into the trap of being manly. Some of us have been hurt by our fathers or past relationships that we act so tough because we feel the need to protect ourselves. But we need not be ashamed of being woman and being created with desire to be protected

So,let us ask God for this trait because iris ONLY when we fill our womanly position that men can take their place.I now realize we do ourselves a disservice when we run ahead of males, try to lead them and so forth. This is not God's order. It is only recent that I'm learning that femininity makes us beautiful NOT inferior!

 Folly is an unruly woman;
she is simple and knows nothing.
She sits at the door of her house,
on a seat at the highest point of the city,
calling out to those who pass by,
who go straight on their way,
“Let all who are simple come to my house!”
To those who have no sense she says,
     “Stolen water is sweet;
food eaten in secret is delicious!”
But little do they know that the dead are there,
that her guests are deep in the realm of the dead.~Proverbs 9:13-18

Like a gold ring in a pig’s snout
is a beautiful woman who shows no discretion.~Proverbs 11:22
