WHILE WE STILL HAVE TIME- 'MY BURDEN'

Daily I'm coming to the realization that we're living in the end times.Sin is losing it's sinfulness.Nations are rising against each other.Children disobeying and some stating that Jesus is no longer coming-while being fulfillments of God's Word- 2 Peter 3.

As I'm learning about the subtlety of sin,I realize we're in need.In need of God's grace,guidance,strength to overcome sin and to be deeply rooted.There's no time to be in-between.We can't afford to be lukewarm (Revelation 3).God wants us to choose.We ought to choose whom we will serve and stick to it.I pray we all choose God,this world will ruin us if  we choose its master-the Devil.

Dear friend,it's time to take our walk with God serious-more than we have ever done.It's time to pray more for we are in dire need of prayer,repentance,and for God to give us boldness-to not be ashamed of the gospel-the gospel of salvation (Romans 1:16). While we fold our arms,while I procrastinate,Satan is working mightily that many may be lost.We have no time to lose.We've wasted much time making excuses-I'm busy;but if we're to reflect we'll realize:we love a life of ease.May we pray for a spirit of service.May we realize that we have an individual work to do-to share the last message found in Revelation 14:6-14.

What are we to be doing?Check out the statements below.May we prayerfully accept this message and ask God to  give strength to obey.

 Lets consider the two Scriptures: Revelation 22:20 and 2 Peter 3:9-12-we see the need to hasten.Christ promises that he comes quickly.Are we ready to meet Him?I for one I'm not: preparation within and without.But it does not end there.We have a role to play in the 'hastening' of Christ's coming.We also learn the reason for Jesus' seeming delay is out of mercy-He wants Matthew 24:14 to be fulfilled and He has not desire for anyone to perish (2 Peter 3:9).Infact,he wants everyone to be saved (1 Timothy 2:4).


"Had the church of Christ done her appointed work as the Lord ordained,the whole world would before this have been warned,and the Lord Jesus would have come on earth with power and glory."-Mar 19

Secondly, we need to be interceding,asking God to hold back the winds till we finish giving the message to EVERY 'nation,tongues,kindred':

What winds you ask? Revelation 7:1-3.Revelation is a book of prophecy-so here wind is not literal,but stands for 'strife,violence' (Jeremiah 49:36;Zechariah 2:6).Also,during this process we see a work of sealing that needs to take place.Something I'll expound on some other time.But take note of the condition of those who will be sealed (Ezekiel 9:4;Revelation 7:4 and Revelation 14:5).

Also consider the following statement concerning the aforementioned scripture and our duty: "Why is it that all this wickedness does not break forth in decided violence against righteousness and truth?It is because the four angels are holding the four winds,that they shall not blow upon the earth."-In Heavenly Places,p.96

"Here was a work to be done before the angels should let go of the four winds(the sealing);and if we shall awake to what is transpiring right around us,we must admit that we are not ready for the contest and perplexities which are to be brought upon us,after the decree shall go forth.We are to cry to the God of heaven in earnest,united prayer, for the angels to hold the four winds till missionaries shall be sent to all parts of the world,till we have proclaimed the warning against disobedience to the law of Jehovah,and against the worshiping the beast and his image.The claims of God's law must be made known to the inhabitants of the earth.This is our work;but every conceivable thing that the enemy can do will be done to hinder the people of God from awaking.(emphasis mine)"-RH,December 18,1888

"It is essential that we be in much prayer to God,that his voice and his power may be manifested in behalf of his people,and that the angels may hold the four winds until truth is more fully proclaimed, and the servants of God are sealed in their foreheads."-RH, January 1,1889

"Let none sit in calm expectation of the evil,comforting themselves with the belief that this work must go on because prophecy has foretold it,and that the Lord will shelter his people.We are not doing the will of God if we sit in quietude,doing nothing to preserve liberty of conscience."-5T,713,714

"We as a people have not accomplished the which God has committed to us.We are not ready for the issue to which the enforcement of the Sunday law will bring us.It is our duty,as we see the signs of approaching peril,to arouse to action.Fervent,effectual prayer should be ascending to heaven that this calamity may be deferred until we can accomplish the work which has so long been neglected. Let there be more earnest prayer;and then let us work in harmony with our prayers."-5T,713,714

We have two duties: To pray earnestly and fervently-not once in a while
                                We have a work to do-Matthew 24:14
