Salvation and Your Skin Color [Story]

A month ago or so, my friends and I were doing train ministry. So train ministry involves 2 groups: one group will preach in the carriages while others distribute Christian literature to the passangers on the train. The group distributing literature has the advantage of interacting with the passangers. So, this particular Sunday morning I and a sister started distributing literature and we reached a particular carriage. They call them A class. So, we checked and concluded there were no people.
We then saw an arm moving and quickly went in.

Then we greeted and distributed. As we were about to leave, a particular man wanted us to explain the literature in detail. The sister I was with did that. The literature was about God's commandments: the fact that the Law of God is still binding, as it was, before His death and after His death, and how the law of God, rather, keeping His law is an expression of our love to Him (John 14:15). Including the forgotten commandment, the Sabbath (Exodus 20:8-11). Most importantly, keeping God's law fits us for heaven (Revelation 22:14)

This man clearly understood everything and he even continued chatting with us even when the train reached it's destination.

He was in congruence with everything and was excited to hear this message.

He only had one question: Is heaven even for me, and he showed off his brown skin. We excitedly told him yes.

As I reflected that night I realised racism has done untold harm. It has made the non-whites think that God, salvation, and every gift He offers is not for them.
It's even shocking that, people, who claim to be Christians, can think that they can be God's chosen people, particularly because of their race.
Isn't interesting that, even when God was choosing Israel, it was not based on race or anything like that?

So let it sink,believe it, take it, and claim it:

The religion of the Bible recognizes no caste or color. It ignores rank, wealth, worldly honor. God estimates men as men. With Him, character decides their worth.-9T, p.223

The Lord’s eye is upon all His creatures; He loves them all, and makes no

difference between white and black, except that He has a special, tender pity for

those who are called to bear a greater burden than others. Those who love God and believe on Christ as their Redeemer, while they must meet the trials and the difficulties that lie in their

path, should yet with a cheerful spirit accept their life as it is, considering that God

above regards these things, and for all that the world neglects to bestow, He will

Himself make up to them in the best of favors.-2SM,pp.487,488

The plan of salvation:through the typology of the human body

The human body is really fascinating and everytime I think of it I see God's greatness in a way I cannot even explain.I just get emotional-through the functioning of the human body I realize I am loved and my existence could never be accidental and a result of a bing bang.

What fascinates me about the human body is the fact that is  operated through feedback systems :negative and positive.These are systems that maintain haemostasis in the body.In simpler terms it just makes sure that everything is within its normal range so that harm is not done.

Just to make an example:If your blood sugar level is too high this will be detected and your blood sugar levels will be lowered,and vice versa so that it's in equilibrium within the normal blood sugar level range:3.9-6.1mmol/L or 70-110mg/dL.Same goes for your temperature etc.This is within the internal system.

This is also so for the external environment.For example,when the skin is wounded,the are certain phases that occur to revert the skin back to its normal function and structure.These phases include:Blood Clotting(haemostasis),inflamation,proliferation and remodelling and by the end the wound is only a paler scar.

This is what God seeks to do in each person's life.He wants to restore His perfect image in us.The one we were created with (Genesis 1:26).When sin entered it not only ruined/deformed the image of God in mankind but it also seperated mankind from God,hence Adam and Eve hid themselves.But like a body is restored to its normal functioning,God does the same for mankind.

God gave up His Son,Jesus,to die for us so that through his death and victories we may be able overcome to sin and return back to our sinless state.But in this case,mankind must CHOOSE whether he wants to be restored to His initial state and it is ONLY through Jesus's death that mankind can be restored.Acceptance of this gift means the person receives the gift of eternal life.

Then the holy Spirit is like the feedbacks which bring the body to haemostasis.He brings about repentance and acceptance of this offer.After the offer has been accepted,He helps the individual to return to his sinless state by teaching him what God's will is,convicting him of his sin and constantly leading the individual to new truths.This is that the individual may finally reach God's ideal and have eternal life. 

Indeed,nature testifies of God's love!
