I’ve been thinking about those who’ve left the church because of
others: it is a sad condition and God will hold the people responsible
accountable.But help me understand this:is your argument of leaving the
church really logic when you compare it to what Jesus has done for
you?Why not try other churches rather than the one you love? The sad
reality is,we have more to fear from within than without.Often it is
those that are inside that discourage and hate those who love Jesus.But that is not a valid reason to stop being a Christian.
Look at Christ and what he has done for you and you’ll find every
excuse invalid.So what if you have to wear the same dress every
Sabbath?So what if they are saying hurtful things?That should not deter
you from your walk with Jesus!Christ never promised that we will be
loved.
What if Jesus said he was tired of all the things the Pharisees were saying about him?What if it got too much that he said he can’t go to the cross?Where would you and I be then?Christianity has never been about acceptance in man’s eye and will ever be about acceptance through God’s eyes.Let them talk!In eternity there won’t be any hurtful words.Isn’t that a place far worth than sacrificing your salvation? In fact,if we don’t make it to heaven, we can only blame ourselves-not circumstance and not people!

16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
