Just a thought

Proverbs 18:22King James Version (KJV)

22 Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.

This passage is deep. Not only does it call finding a wife good thing, it’s a favour from God, because ‘every good thing comes from God’. It also implies that the man is the one that goes searching for a wife, not the other way around. It’s God’s order. Like God goes looking for a sinner, so does a man search for a woman.

This whole theory of modern women is not on. We should not celebrate nor encourage women who propose to men. Then there are those who use Ruth as an excuse. But looking at the type of woman Ruth was, her only concern was taking care of her mother-in-law and serve her. She never initiated a relationship with Boaz; she obeyed her mother-in-law, Naomi.

Thoughts on the story of Ruth are welcomed!
